An exceptional spirit distilled in small batches by husband and wife team, Lindsay & Karl Bond, at their distillery in Macclesfield. They use organic juniper berries, coriander seeds and botanicals foraged from Macclesfield Forest.
They keep the exact recipe a closely guarded secret, but they do divulge that it includes wild bilberries, gorse flowers, raspberries and local moss. This mix is ground down in a pestle and mortar, blended together and added to the spirit which is then distilled through a copper condenser. The distillate is then mixed with local spring water to produce a Premium London Dry Gin.
The gin comes in screen-printed stoneware bottles designed by Papercuts artist Suzy Taylor. Each bottle is printed by hand and individually made.
Clearly the Bond's are doing everything right. Their gin scooped Silver in The Global Gin Masters 2015 Competition, in the Ultra Premium Gin category!
