Merlot is one of the most widely planted grapes in the world. In fact, a third of all vines grown in the world are merlot. While merlot grapes are frequently used for blending with Cabernet Sauvignon, they also produce excellent wines when used on their own.

This wine is a deep ruby red with hints of plum and black cherry. It is silky smooth with a medium body, light acidity and is full of fruit. Perfect with dishes served with tomato sauces or with caramelised vegetables.

Serve slightly chilled (16°C to 18°C).
